Ingredients

  • 150 g Brown sugar
  • 113 ml Coconut oil
  • 1 piece(s) Egg
  • 360 g Unsweetened applesauce
  • 250 g All-purpose flour
  • 90 g Rolled oats
  • 10 tbsp Baking soda
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 2.6 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 150 g Raisins
  • 100 g Chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 5 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 20 cup White chocolate
  • 10 cup Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it
  3. Whisk brown sugar, coconut oil, and eggs until light and fluffy
  4. Stir in the unsweetened applesauce until well combined
  5. Mix the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg evenly
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in a few additions, gently folding just until combined
  7. Fold in the raisins and chopped walnuts or pecans
  8. Spoon portions of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between them
  9. Bake until the edges are golden and the center springs back when pressed
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a short while, then transfer to a rack to cool completely
  11. Dust with powdered sugar or decorate with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with colorful sugar beads
