Ingredients

  • 56 g Brown Rice
  • 1 cup Broccoli
  • 1 oz Chicken Breast Fillet
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 15 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 30 cups Water
  • 3 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the brown rice according to the package instructions.
  2. While the rice is cooking, cut the broccoli into small florets and cook them in a pot of boiling water for approx. 7-8 minutes.
  3. Cut the chicken breast fillets into small pieces and fry in a non-stick pan with some water. Cook until the chicken turns white.
  4. For the sauce, mix the honey soy sauce water, cornstarch ginger, and crushed red peppers together in a small bowl.
  5. Add the sauce to the pan of chicken and let simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken has absorbed the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve everything together on a plate.
