Ingredients

  • 1 medium Granny Smith Apple, peeled cored cut
  • 1 medium Dried Apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Currant
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, raw
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 medium Orange, rind
  • 1/4 cup Oat, rolled
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Light
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, raw

Instructions

  1. Place the apples, water, currants, sugar, cinnamon and orange rind into a large saucepan, cover and simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes.Remove from heat. Spoon apple mix into a 4-6 cup capacity oven-proof dish.
  2. Combine the oats, peanut spread and sugar with finger tips until well combined. Crumble mixture over the apples.
  3. Place into oven at 180ºC for 10-15 minutes until crumble is golden.
  4. Serve with ice-cream or a dollop of cream or yoghurt.
